Day 1: Departure – SFO-Telaviv, Israel

Our spiritual journey begins as we depart from USA on a non-stop flight to Istanbul via Turkish Air.  We will then catch our connecting flight to Tel- Aviv. 

Day 2: Arrival – Telaviv, Israel

Welcome to Tel Aviv.  Here we will meet our tour conductor and guide.  They will take us to our hotel in Tiberias where we will have our dinner and spend the night.

Day 3: Caesarea, Stella Maris, Nazareth, Cana, Tiberias

We will drive to Haifa. We will pass by Caesarea to see the ruins of the ancient Roman City with its Aqueduct. In Haifa, we will visit the Carmelite Monastery and the Church of the Prophet Elijah. Then, we will continue to Nazareth to visit the Church of the Annunciation, Church of St. Joseph and Mary’s well. We will then visit the First Miracle site in Cana where couples may renew their wedding vows. We will have dinner and overnight in Tiberias.

Day 4: Sea of Galilee, Boat Ride, Capernaum, Mt of Beatitudes, Tabgha

We drive to Capernaum, the town of Jesus where He performed many miracles, we will visit the House of St. Peter and the ruins of the ancient Synagogue where Jesus preached. We will stop at Tabgha and visit the Primacy of St. Peter and the Church of Miracle of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fishes. We then visit the Church of Beatitudes, have a boat ride on the Lake of Galilee, dinner and overnight in Tiberias.

Day 5: Jordan River, Mt tabor, Jericho, Jerusalem

We will enjoy a spectacular view of Upper Galilee on the way to Mt. Tabor where Jesus transfigured in the presence of Peter, James and John. Then we will celebrate Mass in the Church of Transfiguration and drive down the Jordan Valley to Jericho; the oldest continuously inhabited city in the world, where we view Mt. Temptation and a Sycamore tree. Next we will visit the Jordan River Baptismal site and have dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.


Day 6: Bethlehem, Sheperd’s Field, Ein Karem, Jerusalem

After breakfast, we will depart for Bethlehem to celebrate the Holy Mass and visit the Church of Nativity where Jesus was born. After lunch, we will shop for souvenirs. Later in the afternoon, we will visit Ein Karem, the hometown and birthplace of St. John the Baptist, and the place where the Blessed Virgin Mary visited her cousin Elizabeth. We will have dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 7: Jerusalem

We will do the Way of the Cross and celebrate the Mass at the Holy Sepulchre Church. We will visit the Christian, Armenian Quarters and the Wailing Wall, we will then visit the Upper Room where Jesus instituted the Eucharist and the Priesthood. We will continue our visit to Pater Noster Church and Mount of Olives and we will walk down the Palm Sunday road to the Garden of Gethsemane where Jesus endured His agony. We will continue to Kidron Valley and Mount Zion and we will visit the Chapel of the Ascension where Jesus returned to His Father. We will have dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 8: Jerusalem, Dead Sea, Masada and Oasis of Ein Gedi

Today, we will ride the cable car to the cliff-top Masada Fortress and enjoy the spectacular aerial views. We will then journey to the desert oasis of the Ein Gedi Nature Reserve. After lunch, we will continue to the Dead Sea, known as the lowest landmass on earth, where you can take a dip in the mineral-rich muds or enjoy free time to explore. If time allows on the way back, we will stop in Bethany, site of the resurrection of Lazarus. Return to Jerusalem.

Day 9: Jerusalem – Tel Aviv – Rome, Italy

Early morning, we will pack our breakfast and leave for Rome. Upon arrival, we will meet our new tour guide and go on city tour before we transfer to our hotel. We will drive through Capitoline Hill, Roman Forum, Coliseum, and Arch of Constantine, Circus Maximus, Old Appian Way, and Palazzo Venezia.

Day 10: Rome – Papal Audience, Vatican City

After breakfast we will depart for the Papal Audience (depending upon the Pope’s availability) in the monumental St. Peter’s Square and see the Basilica of St. Peter in Vatican City. Afternoon, free time in Vatican City. You may see the Vatican Museum to see the masterworks of Michelangelo or do as you please. Dinner and overnight in Rome.

Day 11: Rome, Major Basilicas

We will tour St Mary Major, one of the oldest basilicas dedicated to the Blessed Virgin, after she appeared to Pope Liberius in 358 requesting a church be built in her honor. This shrine contains a relic from the Manger where the Infant Jesus was laid, The Basilica of the St John in Lateran, the former residence of all the popes prior to their return to Rome in 1377 church of the pope and the nearby Scala Santa (Holy Stairs) which Jesus walked on His way to Pontius Pilate, 3. St Paul Outside the Walls, which houses the remains of St. Paul under the main altar. You may enjoy your lunch by the Trevi Fountain. Dinner and overnight in Rome.

Day 12: Rome – FCO Airport – USA

Home sweet home.
